A Nice Tea Bagging. Farewell, Panic Attack.

As the tourney draws near it’s final set of matches, the pressure increases for the teams. Match number 10 begins.

Start of Chapter 1, there is an immediate Tank spawn. After a series of failed rocks from the Tank(Lucky), Panic Attack began to run forward. Fear struck their souls when they realized that they had received too much damage from their enemies. They proceeded onward and made their first grave mistake, leading to their slight separation and deaths.

Green Bubble Tea however, managed to play it out through to the end starting the second map with a nice 519 point lead; With Panic Attack being at only 81 points. Things were not looking too fantastic for our friends over at Panic Attack.

Second Chapter, Panic managed to cease the breathing of the Green Bubble’s with their tank. Unfortunately, they were outdone once again, when they were wiped by the Tank(Zayna), before they could even smell her presence.

We entered the third chapter with a drastic 1002 to 273 point difference in favor of Green Bubble Tea. Things were looking even poopier for Panic Attack. Just moments after leaving the saferoom, hope arose. Player Lotus managed to pull off a Godly Boom, right as the Tank(Ragecake) spawned into existence. As you can imagine, in this cramped sewer full of running dead and a Tank spelled death for Green Bubble Tea.

It was now Panic’s turn. I was cheerful for a brief second, until Ellis(Ragecake) was pulled away from her friends and separated by Zayna’s smoker pull. The rest of the survivors were given no choice, but to pull back, all the way back into the saferoom. The Tank(Ahab) wasn’t too successful with his strikes until the rest of his team pulled off some slow down, giving him the chance to decimate his enemies’ short lived feelings of hope. Panic all died together; well, everyone except for RageCake, who was shreiking away as eternal darkness slowly approached.

The game continued in a similar pattern. However, Panic Attack pulled off some awesome teamwork and made it a to the saferoom but died before they could close the door. This was impressive, due to Green Bubble Tea not making it past the Tank and finally dying earlier than the Panics. This shot them up a lot closer to Green Bubble Tea’s score(962 to 1382). There was hope.

Finale: Player Tella has an unlucky Tank and dies before he can play his usual game of rag doll, but still got in a swift whack or two. Green Bubble did make it far, but died before they could seal the deal 100%. If Panic Attack could just pull through to the end with all of their potentially obtainable points…

The next round begun, hope filled the eyes and minds of our underdogs. They were ready to win. As they left the saferoom to take on this first tank, all hope was lost. The survivors were savagely brutalized by the Tank. The game was over 1798(Green) to 1018(Panic)

A farewell to our friends over at Panic Attack, as this is where they depart from us and the Tournament. I was rooting for them. I’m not sure why I didn’t want Green Bubble to win, but I just didn’t. Maybe it was the love for underdog stories. Props to them though. Green Bubble Tea did their thing and propelled themselves into the Semi-Finals of the MavWar-Hype Tournament.
Congratulations to Green Bubble Tea for making it this far and stomping out those below them.
